Who we are ?
We are a small but passionate cricket fan group. We are no experts, rather just regular fans who love to talk about the game and connect with the fan community.
What we do ?
At Red and Gold Pavilion we aim to provide a platform for fellow cricket fans like us. We primarily cover news and games of the Indian Cricket team and the IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
Why are we doing this ?
Growing up following the game, it was a habit that after watching a game of cricket, we couldn’t wait to share our emotions and our opinions with fellow fans. Back in the day, television sets were scarce and a large group of watchers would huddle around the nearest TV set available to them. Relatives, friends, classmates and sometimes even strangers would gather around to watch the game. The joy in sharing a common watching space and the connection with other watchers made the whole experience more enjoyable. In this digital age where practically every person has their own personal TV inside their smartphone, that connection with fellow fans has reduced drastically. We wish to revive that connection and bring together the fans of the sport in one place where your voice and emotion is heard and shared.
How we do it ?
In our coverage of the games and news, we will be providing the common space for the fans in the commenting section which will be a highlight going forward at Red and Gold Pavilion. Unlike other social media where your comments are lost in the algorithm, your comments here will be saved and trackable. Your opinions about particular topics and moments will be among that of fellow watchers thereby building that human connection where the joy of sharing is experienced.
