After the opening cricket match between Pakistan vs New Zealand, it is now Team India‘s turn. They will play their first game in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 against their neighbours. Dubai International Stadium in Dubai will be the host for the India vs Bangladesh fixture. This follows the decision taken by ICC. India has been granted permission to play all of its games outside the host country, Pakistan.
The toss will take place at 2:00pm IST and the game is set to start at 2:30pm IST. On television, the game will be broadcast on Star Sports and OTT watchers can catch the game live on JioHotstar. Winning today will fetch India two important points early in their campaign and further boost their confidence.

The game will be of the ODI format with each side playing 50 overs. Rohit Sharma will captain the Indian side whereas Najmul Hossain Shanto is the captain of the Bangladesh team. Both the teams are part of group A of the Champions Trophy. Pakistan and New Zealand also belong to group A. Following this game, each team will play against the other members in the group. Winning a game nets a team 2 points. A draw gives just 1 point and a loss gives no points. At the end of the group stages, the top two teams in each group will qualify for the semifinals.
