The Indian Premier League enters its 18th edition in 2025, and as always, Royal Challengers Bengaluru remains one of the most beloved teams, backed by a passionate and loyal fanbase. The iconic M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru is where RCB home games will take place. Here, a sea of red-clad supporters creates an electrifying atmosphere, rallying behind their team with unshakable faith and enthusiasm. Year after year, the Challengers have delivered bold and exhilarating cricket, repaying the faith of their fans. Now, only one goal remains—the IPL trophy.

Room for testing in the first half of the tournament
In their first home game this year, RCB will take on the IPL 2022 champions Gujarat Titans on April 2nd. That will be followed by a fixture against Delhi Capitals. Like RCB, they are also on the hunt for their first IPL trophy. Under Kiran Kumar Grandhi and team, DC have acquired a fantastic squad in the auction. It should make for an entertaining battle of cricket. Punjab Kings will be the next visitors. RCB have a strong record against PBKS in the Chinnaswamy, having won 4 of the last 5 games here.
The last home game in April against the Rajasthan Royals is followed by the most anticipated fixture. In the “southern classico” RCB will take on arch-rivals Chennai Super Kings on May 3rd. In the previous edition, RCB had knocked out CSK after a phenomenal performance to qualify against all odds. It was the “1 percent” game that Virat Kohli had prophetically stated was enough to make miracles happen. And the RCB team with their red army behind them made that miracle happen. Expect lots of drama, action and entertainment this time as well. This will be the second game against CSK in 2025. The first game will take place on March 28th in the Chepauk in Chennai.

Following the clash against Chennai, two of the toughest games this year awaits RCB. First come Sunrisers Hyderabad who had a fantastic auction. They arguably have the strongest squad on paper. Next come the Kolkata Knight Riders, the defending champions. KKR also possess an exciting and power-packed squad that can give a tough battle to RCB. The RCB management had a different approach in the mega auction. The squad is more balanced on paper despite not going after many big buys. It is to be seen how this strategy will fare. Nonetheless, with the stage set and the fans ready to roar, RCB will look to turn their home advantage into a winning force and bring home glory this year!
